Confirmed Dead: The Morning After

After a decent night's sleep, I still don't know how to feel about last night's episode. What I do know is how I wish it was next Thursday already. Perhaps if I were an island native, or one of the Boat People, I would know how to get to next Thursday ASAP.

Yes, that was a reference to the fact that I do believe there is some serious time travel stuff going on.

For instance, something about Miss Indy Jones doesnt' seem quite right. I don't think she is from 2000-whenever like the Losties are. Maybe it was just the fact that her trip to Tunisia just seemed so back-in-the-day, or the fact that she really did look like an Indiana Jones lovah, that I feel like she has traveled through time before.

Another thing about Miss Indy is that she was incredibly ecstatic at finding the Dharma collar among those polar bear remains. How would she know they were going to be there? (She bribed the guy to let her in, so she knew something was there.) How does she know what it is? Thanks to Jeff Jensen's column on EW.com, and my theory-geek hubby, I am thinking that little Miss Indy Jones is very closely related to Ben's friend Annie - or is Annie.

I think I mentioned it before, but I don't think the Boaties are all that bad. They certainly don't know as much as Naomi did.

I still really dislike Miles. I have a bit of a soft spot for Daniel. I even kinda dig Frank. But I don't get how he landed the copter and ended up so far away from it all bloody. Could it be that Smokey got to him and thrashed him about a bit?

Also, what does it really mean to be a native of the island? How can there be true natives if women can't even live to give birth to children? A thought on the birth thing (courtesy my husband). In the book The Time Traveler's Wife, the woman constantly has miscarriages because the baby involuntarily time travels while still in the womb. Could it be that the babies on the island are doing the same thing? If time travel is really involved, do the time travelers (like Richard and probably Ben) do it voluntarily or involuntarily?

Ohhh.... sooooooooo many questions! I guess that means that last night's episode was good. It certainly has left my brain darting and spinning all over the place. Now if only I could dart and spin over to next Thursday....
